The Terriers faced a Consett team just one place below them in the table and so faced an up hill battle to achieve something they had never achieved before. That was 4 wins in a row!

In the early stages it seemed that we could do everything but put the ball in the back of the net. The boys continued to play the flowing football we have become used to watching and the confidence was flowing through them like rivers down a valley.

Two goals in the first half was little reward for the football we were playing and a couple of outstanding saves from Joffe meant we went into half time with the lead. The second half would continue in much the same fashion and the Terriers stretch the lead even further finishing 4-1 winners. The win means the lads continue to put pressure on the top 3 in the division.

A week of this Saturday means training may be a little tougher this week but I’m sure the boys will relish it.
