IT'S JUST LIKE WATCHING BRAZIL!!

8 Oct 2017 by Nigel Henderson

After last weeks solid performance in the cup everyone turned up wondering if the boys could keep to that level.

After a typical slow start to the game the Monks took the lead after some confusion in the home defence led to an opportunist poke that ended up in the back of the Terriers net.

That seemed to shake the lads into action and the Terriers were soon back on level terms. From that point on the Terriers dominated possession and did not let their foot of the gas. The half time whistle came with the lads 3-1 ahead.

The second half started as the first ended with the Terriers dominating the ball. At this point the away team lost a lot of the heart that they had shown in the first half and goals were going in every few minutes. By the time the full time whistle sounded the lads had shown a ruthless streak that has been missing so far from the team. 10-1 didn’t really flatter the home side and so we look forward to the next game in the journey.
